Hugo Suarez started the match with the kick off. Eduardo Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emanuel Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Humberto Bingen fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladillo AFC's protests and gave Humberto Bingen a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Bingen hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Eduardo Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Padro having to interfere. Eduardo Cordeal took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Padro. Emanuel Padro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lisandro Taurino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. The referee gave Saladillo AFC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gregorio Maureo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MARVEL's Domingo Cisco. 1-1. Saladillo AFC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after MARVEL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregorio Maureo took the corner. Aristides Gonchan tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Domingo Cisco. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Oriche was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Feo in the 53rd minute of play forced MARVEL's goalkeeper Domingo Cisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rafael Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Everardo Fortun suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 61st match minute, MARVEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Telmo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Jeronimo Telmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARVEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Telmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's Rafael Feo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Cisco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MARVEL's David Lia got a free kick in the 90th minute. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by MARVEL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gregorio Maureo was slow to take the kick. During this time Saladillo AFC's players had a chance to rest. Saladillo AFC's Emanuel Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Oriche in the 95th minute of play.
