Ignacio Frutos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartolo Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Marcelo Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Caballo de Troya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. If Bartolo Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Reynardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejo Galeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jesus Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Ilixo having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Reynardo made a kick off. Marcelo Etxepare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Mingo in the 53rd minute. Bartolo Mingo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Marcelo Etxepare made a huge save. Mateo Aztore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesus Ilixo. Villeros F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Mingo got free with Marcelo Etxepare in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Bartolo Mingo made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Etxepare. Caballo de Troya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Edgardo Abad walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Caballo de Troya's goalkeeper Marcelo Etxepare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnoldo Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Hibai during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caballo de Troya's Gerardo Hibai got a free kick in the 96th minute. With a little luck, Caballo de Troya's Marcelo Etxepare got control of the ball when Bartolo Mingo tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villeros F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
