With an all-out effort, Gaypón's Bernabe Eztebe threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nestor Mitxaut, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Osvaldo Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Daniel Gniewek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miramonte FC. Bernabe Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Mitxaut in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Miramonte FC's Bernabe Eztebe got control of the ball when Cipriano Jerold tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Miramonte FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Gamus. Nestor Mitxaut hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bernabe Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Mitxaut in the 32nd minute of play. Nestor Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Miramonte FC's Bernabe Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Mitxaut in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Miramonte FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Jerold. Bernabe Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Mitxaut in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Senin made the kick off in the second half. Nestor Mitxaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Eztebe having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the game, Adolfo Bixintxo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Roman Lia hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Miramonte FC's Feliberto Fagildo tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Serafin Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daniel Gniewek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miramonte FC's Bernabe Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Jerold in the 71st minute of play. Bernabe Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Mitxaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Daniel Gniewek managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Miramonte FC's Serafin Astudillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Serafin Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Daniel Gniewek made a huge save. If Cipriano Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gaypón had won after a very even match.
