Spectators: 7308 (Terracing: 5482, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejo Galeno kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Pikin's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Galeno came free, but Manfredo Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Caballo de Troya defense, Froilan Lain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Etxepare. The Caballo de Troya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Etxepare should have stopped the shot. Godofredo Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Marcelo Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Peyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Froilan Lain took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Etxepare. Marcelo Etxepare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcelo Etxepare came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Pikin's Florentino Javiar. But to his dismay, Florentino Javiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Froilan Lain scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Etxepare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Lain in the 31st minute of the match. If Orlando Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Froilan Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Etxepare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Caballo de Troya getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ezequiel Jerold hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Froilan Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Lain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Club Atlético Pikin got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Rius. After 52 played minutes, Caballo de Troya's Honorio Chico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manfredo Vander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caballo de Troya reached it. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Pikin's Generoso Iztal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Pikin booed when Caballo de Troya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Jerold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Peyo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Froilan Lains short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Marcelo Etxepare to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Orlando Peyo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Marcelo Etxepare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Pikin. With a little luck, Caballo de Troya's Marcelo Etxepare got control of the ball when Froilan Lain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Etxepare having to interfere. Manfredo Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Galeno in the 72nd minute of the match. Froilan Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marcelo Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Orlando Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Caballo de Troya's goalkeeper Marcelo Etxepare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Lain. Froilan Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcelo Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Pikin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
