The supporters of Gaypón booed when Club Atlético Pikin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Gniewek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 33 played minutes Gaypón got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Jerold. Amadeo Rius kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Club Atlético Pikin were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Gaypón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Froilan Lain took the corner. The corner ended in Froilan Lain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gaypón's Daniel Gniewek did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Mitxaut to make the kick off. Froilan Lain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Gniewek having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Gaypón's Elpidio Perez got a free kick in the 55th minute. Orlando Peyo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Gniewek. Daniel Gniewek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 73 played minutes Club Atlético Pikin got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Lain. Daniel Gniewek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Froilan Lain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Pikin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Froilan Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, Club Atlético Pikin's Florentino Javiar made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Gniewek was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Pikin's goalkeeper Manfredo Vander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atlético Pikin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
