Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Senin kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Miramonte FC's Serafin Astudillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Hug made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 12 played minutes Zaramay Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Sabin. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miramonte FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Eztebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Hug having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Adolfo Sabin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zaramay Futbol Club and the Miramonte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zaramay Futbol Club getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Adolfo Sabin hit a great ball. Osvaldo Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Hug having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zaramay Futbol Club's zone, Osvaldo Senin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Hug came out of the goal and Osvaldo Senin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Serafin Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Hug having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Osvaldo Senin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Olando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Herena in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Herena in the 55th minute of play forced Miramonte FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Osvaldo Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Elvio Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaramay Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Olando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Amadeo Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Osvaldo Senin came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Miramonte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Senin couldn't finish the play. When Miramonte FC's Osvaldo Senin in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Miramonte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zaramay Futbol Club the free kick. A collision led to Miramonte FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zeledon Gamus hit a great ball. Bernabe Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Olando in the 97th minute of play.
