With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Jerold in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Arias saved Ferro from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Blanco in the 5th minute of play forced Gaypón's goalkeeper Daniel Gniewek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Jerold in the 9th minute of play forced Ferro's goalkeeper Urbano Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Mitxaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbano Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nestor Mitxaut sped through Ferro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urbano Arias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Blanco in the 18th minute of play forced Gaypón's goalkeeper Daniel Gniewek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Su kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gaypón reached it. Daniel Gniewek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Blanco's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 28 played minutes Gaypón got a freekick which was hit by Roman Lia. Ferro's Celso Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbano Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Jerold in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Nestor Mitxaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaypón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 42ndth minute of the game Nestor Mitxaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferro's Urbano Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Ferro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Jerold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Mitxaut made a kick off. In the 55th minute Nestor Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gaypón getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Elpidio Perez hit a great ball. The Ferro fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Ferro's Celso Seber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ferro booed when Gaypón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Jerold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Mitxaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Mitxaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Arias having to interfere. Bernardo Ted hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Ferro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gaypón were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
