Simon Ponciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Pikin. If Froilan Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Club Atlético Pikin fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Club Atlético Pikin's Froilan Lain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Froilan Lain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pandilla F C's Simon Ponciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orlando Peyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Simon Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Lain in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Ponciano saved La Pandilla F C from getting behind. Simon Ponciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. La Pandilla F C's Simon Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Javiar in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Gonza was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Pikin's Jacinto Raebert got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Simon Ponciano came out of the goal and Orlando Peyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Pikin getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Generoso Iztal hit a great ball.
