Eloy Presebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Y va el 3ero FC's Bruno Cordaro got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Gervasio Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vagos Unidos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Maidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Juan Calixto came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Vagos Unidos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Calixto couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Y va el 3ero FC's Baldomiro Txatxu got control of the ball when Gervasio Maidana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eloy Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Mincho in the 24th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Baldomiro Txatxu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Elvio Mogel fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vagos Unidos FC's protests and gave Elvio Mogel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Elvio Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcelo Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Y va el 3ero FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Maidana. Y va el 3ero FC's Baldomiro Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Calixto in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Calixto in the 41st minute of play forced Y va el 3ero FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Y va el 3ero FC's Marcelo Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Maidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomiro Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Calixto in the 66th minute of the match. Baldomiro Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Maidana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Mincho in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Presebal saved Vagos Unidos FC from getting behind. If Marcelo Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, one of Y va el 3ero FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Y va el 3ero FC. The referee gave Vagos Unidos FC a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Mon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Y va el 3ero FC's Baldomiro Txatxu. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Maidana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Txatxu was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Hugo Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Y va el 3ero FC's Pablo Mincho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eloy Presebal. Eloy Presebal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Vagos Unidos FC's Gervasio Maidana got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vagos Unidos FC's goalkeeper Eloy Presebal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Juan Calixto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Baldomiro Txatxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vagos Unidos FC had won after a very even match.
