In the 7th minute of the match Abelardo Totakoxe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Lixandro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vagos Unidos FC's Honorio Azevedo suffered a concussion after 8 minutes and had to leave the field. 8 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Ilazki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavalle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vagos Unidos FC the free kick. Gaudencio Ilazki kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Resto during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vagos Unidos FC booed when Lavalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vagos Unidos FC's Eloy Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Paskal in the 17th minute of play. Gervasio Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Lixandro having to interfere. Juan Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalle's zone, Juan Calixto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Lixandro came out of the goal and Juan Calixto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lavalle's Virgilio Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Maidana in the 40th minute of play. Elvio Mogel struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Virgilio Lixandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vagos Unidos FC. 43 minutes into the match, Vagos Unidos FC's Gervasio Maidana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Lixandro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emiliano Ruisko hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Paskal was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vagos Unidos FC's Cosme Rafel got a free kick in the 59th minute. Vagos Unidos FC's Elvio Mogel got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Virgilio Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lavalle's Prudencio Vergaray got a free kick in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Calixto during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Jonatan Paskal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lavalle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After having played for 80 minutes, Gervasio Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vagos Unidos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Maidana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Jonatan Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vagos Unidos FC's Eloy Presebal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gervasio Maidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavalle's goalkeeper Virgilio Lixandro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gervasio Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Lixandro having to interfere. Vagos Unidos FC's Gervasio Maidana got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 minutes of play, Vagos Unidos FC's Victorino Jaunti made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Lixandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vagos Unidos FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
