Rene Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Oliveiro in the 6th minute of the match. Rene Frichoso was a little too slow when Leandro Vargas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fausto Theodore's late challenge caught a Ositos Gominolas Torpes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Theodore helped the player get up and apologised. Huevonaso S.C.'s Rene Frichoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Huevonaso S.C. from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Panpili in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Frichoso saved Huevonaso S.C. from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Ositos Gominolas Torpes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. Abel Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ositos Gominolas Torpes getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Honorato Orlin hit a great ball. If Clemente Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Igor Jerico kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leandro Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Ursino got free with Leonel Toli in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Vargas in the 55th minute of play forced Huevonaso S.C.'s goalkeeper Rene Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leonel Toli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
