Los Halcones's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Faustino Abastas 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Quilquihue Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Curcio came free, but Armin Karja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quilquihue Fútbol Club's Basilio Gurutz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Faustino Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

If Nunez Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armin Karja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Breogan in the 53rd minute. Isidro Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Abastas in the 62nd minute of the match. Elpidio Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Isidro Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Elpidio Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quilquihue Fútbol Club had played much better football throughout.
