Spectators: 7308 (Terracing: 5482, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Gonzalo Quintyn started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Patria o Muerte's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Licerio came free, but Baldomero Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Patria o Muerte getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cipriano Leoiar hit a great ball. Evelio Eliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Quintyn's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Baldomero Viator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the C. A. Ciudadela Norte defense, Gonzalo Quintyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Eliu. The C. A. Ciudadela Norte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Eliu should have stopped the shot. Gonzalo Quintyn took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Eliu. Evelio Eliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 24th match minute, Patria o Muerte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Bixintxo to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Eliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Evelio Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Quintyn in the 36th minute of play. Fabricio Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Eliu having to interfere. Gonzalo Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Evelio Eliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Bixintxo in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Quintyn in the 48th minute of play forced C. A. Ciudadela Norte's goalkeeper Evelio Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Cristobal Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Evelio Eliu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Patria o Muerte's Gonzalo Quintyn. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Quintyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gonzalo Quintyn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Evelio Eliu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Fabricio Bixintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, C. A. Ciudadela Norte's Teodoro Obano got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gonzalo Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patria o Muerte's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Quintyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Eliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Fabricio Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patria o Muerte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Montel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Evelio Eliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Ciudadela Norte's zone, Gonzalo Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Eliu came out of the goal and Gonzalo Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Patria o Muerte booed when C. A. Ciudadela Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Benedicto Lluques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patria o Muerte's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Lluques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Quintyn might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evelio Eliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzalo Quintyn ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Patria o Muerte's Gonzalo Quintyn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. C. A. Ciudadela Norte's Evelio Eliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Bixintxo in the 93rd minute of play. If Gonzalo Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The C. A. Ciudadela Norte fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Patria o Muerte were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
