Bernabe Hartz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braulio Breogan went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Bernabe Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Breogan in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Cristian Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Halcones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santi F.C the free kick. In the 15th minute, Cristian Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Hartz having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Braulio Breogan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernabe Hartz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 28th minute, Denis Cerilo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Desiderio Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Isidro Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Quirce in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Santi F.C booed when Los Halcones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Cerilo's late challenge caught a Los Halcones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Cerilo helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Cerilo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Bernabe Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Breogan in the 40th minute of play. Denis Cerilo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Gonsalvo. Isidro Gonsalvo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 47 minutes into the match, Santi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Breogan came free, but Bernabe Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Los Halcones were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Cerilo made a kick off. Nunez Quirce took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernabe Hartz. Bernabe Hartz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 53rd minute, Nunez Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nunez Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernabe Hartz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nunez Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. Nunez Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bernabe Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Quirce in the 73rd minute of play forced Santi F.C's goalkeeper Bernabe Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Quirce in the 75th minute of play. If Braulio Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Curcio got free with Bernabe Hartz in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Hartz was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Nunez Quirce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nunez Quirce really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Fernan Erlantz's late challenge caught a Los Halcones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Erlantz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Los Halcones. Felix Gorka stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernabe Hartz. 1-7. Denis Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. The Los Halcones players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
