Rene Canor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Henric in the 11th minute of the match. Ildefonso Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Anselmo Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Resbalito's Ildefonso Tirso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Colon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Torino getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gonzalo Santikurtz hit a great ball. Feliberto Grabiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Colon having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Abelardo Jakue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resbalito the free kick. In the 30th minute, one of Torino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Torino. Ricardo Gartzen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, Resbalito's Rene Canor got control of the ball when Eduardo Menendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Resbalito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

59 minutes into the match, Torino's goalkeeper Anselmo Colon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Grabiel. Feliberto Grabiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Colon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Tirso in the 75th minute of play forced Torino's goalkeeper Anselmo Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Agustin Acosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes, Aldo Castel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resbalito and the Torino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Higinio Hodei hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Agustin Acosta, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. When Ildefonso Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Resbalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Tirso couldn't finish the play. If Feliberto Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 98th minute of the match Aldo Castel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aldo Castel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 99 played minutes Resbalito got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Castel. Torino's Vinicio Henric got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Resbalito had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
