Baltasar Medina hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Milka Gadas's zone, Manuel Corderun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Bela came out of the goal and Manuel Corderun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Ezkerra scored 0-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Lekubegi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mauricio Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Cebo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Milka Gadas booed when Sarmiento FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
