Aquiles Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Natanael in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Honorio Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caras de Nutria F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Gergori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Ivan Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Caras de Nutria F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Antonio Ipar hit a great ball. If Santo Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Caras de Nutria F.C. booed when Esparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Ixona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Esparta's Rogelio Lorien got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ivan Natanael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aquiles Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Selatse hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
