If Dionisio Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Nemesio Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juanchis FC's Benicio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Gergori in the 28th minute of play. Honorio Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Shepherd having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Juanchis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo James to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nemesio Rey made the kick off in the second half. Ivan Natanael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caras de Nutria F.C. were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Juanchis FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clodoveo Matthew took the corner. Dionisio Enmanuel's late challenge caught a Caras de Nutria F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Enmanuel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Dionisio Enmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caras de Nutria F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clodoveo Matthew in the 71st minute. Honorio Gergori who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Benicio Shepherd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute of the match Antonio Ipar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Shepherd skillfully saved the ball. When Justo Lando fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juanchis FC's protests and gave Justo Lando a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Justo Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 95 minutes, Evelio Rocio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juanchis FC and the Caras de Nutria F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Juanchis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Rocio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Honorio Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caras de Nutria F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Gergori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
