Spectators: 6425 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bonifacio Rivero got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Orlin in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferenc Segesváry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferenc Segesváry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Gar in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Penca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Beturian to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Ferenc Segesváry successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tiburcio Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Rivero in the 31st minute of play. Ferenc Segesváry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bonifacio Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penca's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Rivero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bonifacio Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Vito having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Penca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Arixo to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Orlin made a kick off. Hermengildo Orlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tiburcio Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Arturo Gar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ferenc Segesváry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Bonifacio Rivero could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Tiburcio Vito however easily saved by the left post. After 79 minutes, Bonifacio Rivero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penca and the Erwood FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Penca's Bonifacio Rivero got a free kick in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Rivero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiburcio Vito. Erwood FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Rivero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Erwood FC's Tiburcio Vito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Erwood FC from getting a goal against them. Arturo Gar hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Arturo Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Penca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Penca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
