Spectators: 7266 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leopoldo Montes kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Tonio in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Abaurre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Eusebio Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Docta's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Tonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Abaurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Tonio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Feliciano Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Marquezs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Zeledon Abaurre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Feliciano Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Tonio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Zeledon Abaurre 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Tonio in the 34th minute of play forced Calvo FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Abreu in the 38th minute of play. Leopoldo Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Firman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Abreu in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Tonio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Feliciano Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Rafe's late challenge caught a La Docta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Rafe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Calvo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Rafe to maneuver through the defense. La Docta's German Hurko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Calvo FC. Osvaldo Truylos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Anastasio Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Marcelo Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Leopoldo Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Feliciano Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, La Docta's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Montes came free, but Marcelo Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Calvo FC's Victor Abreu got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Benigno Txeru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Docta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Calvo FC for a fine match.
