Anwar Mounir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Francis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Elias Tancredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Francis having to interfere. The supporters of Ulia booed when Boca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Sigman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Sten Sigman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ulia's Juan Francis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Domingos Pere tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vladimiro Ixona saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boca FC's Sten Sigman managed to work through Ulia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sten Sigman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Juan Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Sigman in the 23rd minute of play. Sten Sigman took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Francis. Juan Francis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Boca FC were furious when Ambrosio Mincho was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Vladimiro Ixona, was totally fooled by Ulia's Astor Weterio, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Vladimiro Ixona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Sabino in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingos Pere in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Ixona saved Boca FC from getting behind. Severo Ibon struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Juan Francis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca FC. Boca FC's Vladimiro Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Madaleno in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Sigman in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Francis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Pere made a kick off. Domingos Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boca FC's Vladimiro Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Sabino in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Manuel Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Severo Ibon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulia the free kick. After 56 played minutes Boca FC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Ibon. A collision led to Boca FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Severo Ibon hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boca FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Vladimiro Ixona had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Astor Weterio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vladimiro Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Pere in the 65th minute of play. Vladimiro Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Pere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Sabino in the 70th minute of play forced Boca FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Ixona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Primitivo Sabino went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Froilan Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Francis having to interfere. Ulia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Sten Sigman scored to the left of an out of position Juan Francis, making the score, 2-2. Sten Sigman spun around in front of the goal 80 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ulia's goal. 82 minutes into the game, Boca FC's Mariano Chabier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Francis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Boca FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boca FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
