Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luciano Colas made the kick off which started today's match. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Elvio Fernanco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 4th minute, Severo Ibon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvio Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ibarlucea's Godfredo Abeita got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Sten Sigman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Fernanco was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Sigman in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Fernanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimiro Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Reyes in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Ibarlucea's Luciano Colas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimiro Ixona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clodoveo Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anwar Mounir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Sigman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Elvio Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Fernanco having to interfere. Sten Sigman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Elvio Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severo Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Abeita's late challenge caught a Boca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Abeita helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ibarlucea getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Godfredo Abeita hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Sigman in the 52nd minute of play forced Ibarlucea's goalkeeper Elvio Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Sigman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Fernanco having to interfere. When Boca FC's Sten Sigman in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibarlucea's goalie prevented a goal. When Godfredo Abeita was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. Godfredo Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Sten Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Ibarlucea got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Arnalt. A collision led to Boca FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nicanor Koldo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Sigman in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Severo Ibon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Fernanco having to make a save. The referee gave Boca FC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicanor Koldo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ibarlucea's Elvio Fernanco. 2-1. Conrado Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Froilan Bastian came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Boca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Bastian couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boca FC had played much better football throughout.
