The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Urtun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo's Mariano Perutxo got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Domingos Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Baumar struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Juan Francis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazaredo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingos Pere in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Urtun saved Mazaredo from getting behind. Mazaredo's Marcial Urtun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Sabino in the 27th minute of play. Primitivo Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Urtun having to interfere. Marcial Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulia's Domingos Pere got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Pere in the 41st minute of the match. Marcial Urtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Baumar was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ulia booed when Mazaredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Perutxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Ulia's Domingos Pere ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcial Urtun. Marcial Urtun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Fabricio Baumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Francis having to interfere. When Fabricio Baumar came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mazaredo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Baumar couldn't finish the play. Juan Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Baumar in the 94th minute of play. The Ulia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ulia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
