Baltasar Mino might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lisandro Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Mino ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dalmacio Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nestor Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Corderro having to interfere. The referee gave Racing Club a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maximiliano Telmo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Playadito AFC's Dalmacio Corderro. 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Guzman to maneuver through the defense. If Nestor Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes in the game, Horacio Marques fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dalmacio Corderro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Marques in the 44th minute of play forced Playadito AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Corderro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Dalmacio Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Marques in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Horacio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Nestor Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Corderro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Corderro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Delmar Fe hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Ricardo Jerrald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playadito AFC the free kick. When Baltasar Mino came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Playadito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Mino couldn't finish the play. Playadito AFC's Vladimiro Neron suffered a sore thigh after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 93 minutes of play Racing Club's Delmar Fe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Delmar Fe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Lando got free with Lisandro Raulo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Racing Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
