Kadabra's Angelo Ermengol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Abreu in the 40th minute of play. Haroldo Cordario made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Eriberto Fiz sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Abreu was the one to do the kick off. When Arturo Eusko fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pintos AFC's protests and gave Arturo Eusko a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Kadabra a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gregorio Iruinea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pintos AFC's Haroldo Cordario. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Fiz in the 94th minute of play forced Pintos AFC's goalkeeper Haroldo Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Cordario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Erasto's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Haroldo Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Fiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 98 played minutes Pintos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Amato.
