Spectators: 7010 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 50) Pintos AFC's Federico Abreu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Niguel during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pintos AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cirilo Niguel hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Evaristo Amato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atahualpa AFC the free kick. Atahualpa AFC's Nemesio Vela couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pintos AFC. Ramon Palban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Haroldo Cordario made a huge save. German Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If German Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Jax during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. German Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Aztore having to interfere. If German Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Orzaize received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haroldo Cordario came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorio Orzaize slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Atahualpa AFC's Victoriano Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Abreu in the 36th minute of play. Ramon Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Steven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Victoriano Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Aztore came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pintos AFC's Federico Abreu. But to his dismay, Federico Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Orzaize made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Honorio Orzaize notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pintos AFC's Haroldo Cordario. Haroldo Cordario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Abreu in the 59th minute of play forced Atahualpa AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Federico Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victoriano Aztore. The goal made the score 2-2. Honorio Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Steven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Victoriano Aztore made a huge save. If Federico Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Abechuco's late challenge caught a Pintos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Abechuco helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atahualpa AFC! Cirilo Niguel shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ramon Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Orzaize in the 88th minute of play forced Pintos AFC's goalkeeper Haroldo Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Honorio Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pintos AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
