Angelo Ermengol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Marques's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Lisandro Raulo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Eriberto Fiz sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Leonel Ibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kadabra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Kadabra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ibar to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Telmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Ermengol. Kadabra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Erasto came free, but Lisandro Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Fiz struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lisandro Raulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kadabra. In the 27th minute, Eriberto Fiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Ricardo Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ramiro Erasto came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kadabra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Erasto couldn't finish the play. Ramiro Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Horacio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Eriberto Fiz sped through Racing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Raulo. Racing Club's Lisandro Raulo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Horacio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Ermengol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Fiz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Lisandro Raulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kadabra.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Erasto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kadabra's Eriberto Fiz in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. If Ramiro Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Fiz in the 62nd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Lisandro Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Mariano Banegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kadabra and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Kadabra's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Marques came free, but Angelo Ermengol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kadabra! Lisandro Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Fiz in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Marques in the 76th minute of play forced Kadabra's goalkeeper Angelo Ermengol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kadabra's goalkeeper Angelo Ermengol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lisandro Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kadabra's zone, Horacio Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Ermengol came out of the goal and Horacio Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Kadabra were the better team. Kadabra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
