The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Seyit Tanbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Goi in the 3rd minute of play. Talapampa FC's Dór Midas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Natalio Milio in the 4 minute of the game. Talapampa FC's Seyit Tanbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Goi in the 9th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Talapampa FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Transito. Dante Maurin's late challenge caught a Talapampa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Maurin helped the player get up and apologised. Anacleto Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyit Tanbey having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Silverio Ekaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talapampa FC's Seyit Tanbey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talapampa FC's goalkeeper Seyit Tanbey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seyit Tanbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Silverio Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aráoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Ekaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seyit Tanbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Dór Midas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Leocadio Toranzo made a huge save. Talapampa FC's Paulino Panpili got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Panpili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Talapampa FC's Paulino Panpili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leocadio Toranzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Seyit Tanbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Ekaitz in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Paulino Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leocadio Toranzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silverio Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seyit Tanbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Ekaitz in the 84th minute. The supporters of Aráoz booed when Talapampa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dór Midas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silverio Ekaitz came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Aráoz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Ekaitz couldn't finish the play.
