Edelmiro Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jacobo Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Milio in the 9th minute of the match. Carrisalito FC's Ruperto Silvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Carrisalito FC from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Silvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Shantala's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Edelmiro Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Isaac Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Silvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Loreto took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Silvino. Ruperto Silvino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Pichanal's Jacobo Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Fraco in the 38th minute of play. Jacobo Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Fraco, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 44 played minutes, Carrisalito FC's Edgardo Larra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Belarmo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrisalito FC reached it. If Edelmiro Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Fraco to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Carrisalito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Loreto came free, but Ruperto Silvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Isidoro Reyes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pichanal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 61st minute, Carrisalito FC's Edelmiro Milio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Paulino Fraco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jacobo Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carrisalito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some careless play in the Carrisalito FC defense, Felipe Loreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Silvino. The Carrisalito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Silvino should have stopped the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Paulino Fraco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrisalito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Fraco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pichanal's zone, Edelmiro Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Belarmo came out of the goal and Edelmiro Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pichanal had played much better football throughout.
