Spectators: 6648 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomás Sayvion got the match started through his kick off. Santiago Balendin took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Belarmo. Jacobo Belarmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Shantala in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Quinten saved Sauce from getting behind. Isaac Shantala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Quinten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Pichanal getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Raimundo Lopes hit a great ball. The supporters of Pichanal booed when Sauce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Giraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sauce's Fausto Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Shantala in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Shantala came free, but Fausto Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pichanal's goalkeeper Jacobo Belarmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artemio Raymond charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Raymond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artemio Raymond hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Shantala was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Pichanal were awarded a corner. Artemio Fresco went to the cornerflag to take it. If Santiago Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pichanal getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Raimundo Lopes hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Casimiro Cai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sauce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pichanal the free kick. Felipe Loreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Fausto Quinten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th match minute, Sauce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Dayam to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Quinten came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Pichanal's Felipe Loreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Loreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pichanal's Felipe Loreto got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fausto Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Quinten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Loreto in the 99th minute.
