An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Monico in the 8th minute of play forced Sauce's goalkeeper Fausto Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Quinten was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silverio Monico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Tomás Sayvion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sauce's Artemio Raymond got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fausto Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Monico in the 39th minute of play. Ricardo Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Tomás Sayvion struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Marcelo Ponc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce. A collision led to Era Por Abajo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alfonso Xabel hit a great ball. Edgardo Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Sayvion made a kick off. Tomás Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomás Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Alfonso Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sauce's Tomás Sayvion got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Era Por Abajo got a freekick which was hit by Severo Amato. 78 minutes into the match, Sauce's Cristo Pirro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fausto Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Martinez in the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Era Por Abajo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Sayvion came free, but Marcelo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Monico came free, but Fausto Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Era Por Abajo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
