Isaac Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Las Toscas getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Niceto Johans hit a great ball. Fernando Enekoitz, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marciano Guilabertus hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. River Plate Bahía Blanca's Isaac Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Naelio in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Marciano Guilabertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Cordairo having to interfere. The supporters of River Plate Bahía Blanca booed when Las Toscas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marciano Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the game, Claudio Naelio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isaac Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute Ambrosio Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate Bahía Blanca's zone, Claudio Naelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Duarte came out of the goal and Claudio Naelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The River Plate Bahía Blanca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Las Toscas were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Guilabertus to strike the kick off in the second half. Marciano Guilabertus struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Justino Cordairo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate Bahía Blanca. Carmelo Mundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Cordairo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Emiliano Socorro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ambrosio Estevon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Isaac Duarte made a huge save. Isaac Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Serafin Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A hard shot 70 in the game by Ambrosio Estevon from a close distance when the talented Isaac Duarte managed to make a qualified save. River Plate Bahía Blanca's players were relieved. Las Toscas's Justino Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Mundo in the 72nd minute of play. Isaac Duarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Naelio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 78 minute of play. Justino Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Mundo in the 81st minute of play. Marciano Guilabertus took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Cordairo. Justino Cordairo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Justino Cordairo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Guilabertus's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Ambrosio Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Isaac Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The River Plate Bahía Blanca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Las Toscas's performance. The match ended with a win for Las Toscas.
