In the 12th minute, Alonzo Seber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guayquiraró FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Herminio Medardo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Guayquiraró FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Medardo couldn't finish the play. Isaac Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Medardo in the 31st minute of play. Herminio Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alonzo Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayquiraró FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Seber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Herminio Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Guilabertus to make the kick off. Herminio Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Herminio Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayquiraró FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Herminio Medardo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of River Plate Bahía Blanca's Isaac Duarte. Isaac Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. River Plate Bahía Blanca's Isaac Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Medardo in the 83rd minute of play. If Herminio Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guayquiraró FC. 3-1 came through a penalty shot after 98 played minutes, when River Plate Bahía Blanca:s Fernando Enekoitz calmly waited for Guayquiraró FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guayquiraró FC had won after a very even match.
