Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florencio Peruanton started the match with the kick off. Jesus Figueroa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Reynaldo Martxel had several of the Deportivo Campana's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jesus Figueroa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Andres Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Figueroa having to interfere. Reynaldo Martxel in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jesus Figueroa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Andres Mikeldi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Reynaldo Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Deportivo Campana's Jesus Figueroa got control of the ball when Andres Mikeldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Campana's Florencio Peruanton got a free kick in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Florencio Peruanton sped through Arequito AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Abaunza. Cyril Villeret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Osvaldo Andrea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Figueroa. The goal made the score 4-1. In the 38th minute, Deportivo Campana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andres Mikeldi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cyril Villeret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Campana's Manuel Truylos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Osvaldo Andrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Reynaldo Martxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Martxel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Figueroa. Deportivo Campana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Martxel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Martxel to strike the kick off in the second half. Andres Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jesus Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Peruanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Peruanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Arequito AFC's goalkeeper Conrado Abaunza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Firme. After 63 minutes of play, Arequito AFC's Cyril Villeret made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Figueroa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Deportivo Campana's goal looked a bit too open when Cyril Villeret came free, but Jesus Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Martxel in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Filomeno Lain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Figueroa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Manuel Truylos came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Campana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Truylos couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Anselmo Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Andrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Arequito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Peruanton came free, but Conrado Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Abaunza made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Manuel Truylos sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Andrea in the 92nd minute of play. Deportivo Campana's Jesus Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Mikeldi in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyril Villeret in the 96th minute of play forced Deportivo Campana's goalkeeper Jesus Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Campana's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
