Isaias Monte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Ur's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Antonio Berto struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Isaias Monte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lebron FC. Atenas -cba-'s Isaias Monte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Atenas -cba- from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Atenas -cba- defense, Antonio Berto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Monte. The Atenas -cba- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Monte should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Atenas -cba-'s Romeo Porfiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Rito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Rigoberto Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigoberto Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Narciso Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lebron FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Diaz couldn't finish the play. Isaias Monte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Diaz in the 35th minute. When Erasmo Mingo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lebron FC's protests and gave Erasmo Mingo a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo Mingo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Astor Amato took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Rito. Lebron FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Atenas -cba-'s Silvano Jenaro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Rito was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Eustaquio Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Isaias Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benito Nerio fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atenas -cba-'s protests and gave Benito Nerio a yellow card for diving instead. Benito Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rigoberto Ur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lebron FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Ur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Monte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Nerio was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 69 minutes into the match, Lebron FC's Rigoberto Ur broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Lebron FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Erasmo Mingo hit a great ball. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
