Spectators: 7187 (Terracing: 5392, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) Atenas -cba-'s Roman Baumar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaias Monte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Niguel's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Niguel in the 10th minute of play forced Atenas -cba-'s goalkeeper Isaias Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Conrado Osoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huyamampa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atenas -cba- the free kick. The supporters of Atenas -cba- booed when Huyamampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Astor Amato sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huyamampa's Maximiliano Casado didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Atenas -cba-'s Jeremias Urtungo got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Roman Baumar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Casado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 26th minute Damian Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Monte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Gorka got free with Isaias Monte in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atenas -cba-'s Isaias Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Niguel in the 39th minute of play. Maximiliano Casado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Jenaro in the 40th minute of the match. Maximiliano Casado came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Atenas -cba-'s Roman Baumar. But to his dismay, Roman Baumar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Atenas -cba-'s Roman Baumar in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huyamampa's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Huyamampa's Manuel Barto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 60th minute, Angelo Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Amato took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximiliano Casado. Huyamampa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romeo Porfiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 62 played minutes Atenas -cba- got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Porfiro. A collision led to Huyamampa getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Conrado Osoro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Huyamampa's Maximiliano Casado got control of the ball when Silvano Jenaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Huyamampa's Damian Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Shantala charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Shantala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Atenas -cba- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Shantala to maneuver through the defense. If Damian Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Gorka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roman Baumar fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atenas -cba-'s protests and gave Roman Baumar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Atenas -cba- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Baumar to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Barto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaias Monte. Atenas -cba-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Niguel in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Monte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute of the match Manuel Barto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Monte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damian Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Gorka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Monte having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Serafin Gorka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Atenas -cba- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atenas -cba- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
