Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcial Abechuco got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute Basilio Kaiet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Chalacea FC's Basilio Kaiet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marcos Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Moises Maju made a huge save. INDEPENDIENTE F.C's Moises Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Kaiet in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Abel Henric hit a great ball. Marcos Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Maju having to interfere. If Ricardo Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Todor struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Luciano Peli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE F.C. 47 minutes into the match, Marcial Abechuco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Peli. Chalacea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Abechuco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Kaiet to make the kick off. Chalacea FC's Luciano Peli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Chalacea FC from getting a goal against them. After 57 minutes of play, Chalacea FC's Basilio Kaiet made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moises Maju was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 60 minutes, Cornelio Lander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INDEPENDIENTE F.C and the Chalacea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Cornelio Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Abechuco had several of the Chalacea FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Luciano Peli as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 72nd match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Emenon to maneuver through the defense. Moises Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Belmiro in the 75th minute of play. Abel Henric's late challenge caught a Chalacea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Henric helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Henric to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Maju having to interfere. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C's Cornelio Lander got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Marcos Belmiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C booed when Chalacea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Agustin Hustaz in the 91st minute really tested Luciano Peli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Marcos Belmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Moises Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
