Savoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Domingues's late challenge caught a Savoi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Prudencio Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Club Atletico Pueyrredon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Savoi throughout the match.
