Mar del Tuyu FC's Abelardo Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Derwin in the 21st minute of play. Clemente Iyan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fabian Derwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Abelardo Leguizamón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froilan Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Eguerdi having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Mar del Tuyu FC's corner Gabriel Dalmau fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erubiel Eguerdi quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Duarte was the one to do the kick off. The Mar del Tuyu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Modesto Sabino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 73rd playminute.
