The supporters of Club Atletico Pueyrredon booed when Fabiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Maties blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Meder having to make a save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Pueyrredon's goalkeeper Joel Meder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Pueyrredon defense, Isidro Maties kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Meder. The Club Atletico Pueyrredon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Meder should have stopped the shot. Isidro Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joel Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Pueyrredon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
