Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romeo Tabor took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Faustino Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Maradona F.C. defense, Faustino Osoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardino Urtsin. The Maradona F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Urtsin should have stopped the shot. Maradona F.C.'s Bernardino Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Mino in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Gilberto Gonza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilberto Mannie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silverio Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bernardino Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Osoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Urtsin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Osoro ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 16 minutes, Ulises Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pepon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Berriotxoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Maradona F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pepon:s goal. Silverio Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the game, Pepon's Silverio Bertol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Urtsin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bernardino Urtsin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Mino went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Silverio Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepon's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Bertol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Urtsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pepon booed when Maradona F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Urtsin came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Pepon's Ulises Berriotxoa. But to his dismay, Ulises Berriotxoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Silverio Bertol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silverio Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepon's Faustino Osoro got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bernardino Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Berriotxoa in the 53rd minute of the match. If Silverio Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Urtsin went to the wrong direction when Tiburcio Bartuelo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Pepon booed when Maradona F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maradona F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiburcio Bartuelo was slow to take the kick. During this time Pepon's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tiburcio Bartuelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardino Urtsin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gilberto Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Sarracino in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Anacleto Sarracino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maradona F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pepon the free kick. Anacleto Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Victorio Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maradona F.C.'s Bernardino Urtsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Maradona F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd match minute, Pepon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Darien to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Victorio Mino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pepon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
