But to his dismay, Nereo Weather quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th match minute, Catenaccio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Endira to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Temperleycapo's Filiberto Dalmai threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ildefonso Sabin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Higinio Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes, Urbano Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catenaccio and the Temperleycapo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Catenaccio getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Urbano Batista hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Ildefonso Sabin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Romulo Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Nereo Weather ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Osmundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Toli in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Osmundo saved Temperleycapo from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Temperleycapo's Ildefonso Sabin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to Temperleycapo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Samuel Arixo hit a great ball. Paulino Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Weather in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Temperleycapo booed when Catenaccio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Toli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Catenaccio's Cleto Toli fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Paulino Osmundo was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

53 minutes into the game, Temperleycapo's Romulo Francis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Dalmai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 60 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Sabin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiberto Dalmai. Catenaccio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Sabin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 66 minutes into the game, Temperleycapo's Higinio Martxel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Weather charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Weather the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Nereo Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Filiberto Dalmai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Higinio Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Catenaccio's zone, Ildefonso Sabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Dalmai came out of the goal and Ildefonso Sabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Sabin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Filiberto Dalmai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temperleycapo. 95 minutes into the match, Catenaccio's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Martxel came free, but Filiberto Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Higinio Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Temperleycapo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Martxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Temperleycapo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Catenaccio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
