The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filomeno Beti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Frichoso in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Jairo Chepe made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Beti. Magnum F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Frichoso in the 12th minute of play forced Magnum F.C's goalkeeper Filomeno Beti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Frichoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Filomeno Beti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Anier Frichoso put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Filomeno Beti. When Calamardo's Anier Frichoso in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magnum F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anier Frichoso in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Beti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anier Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute of the match Javier Celino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Beti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Calamardo's Ladislao Gaxan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Filomeno Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anier Frichoso was the one to do the kick off. The Calamardo fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Calamardo's Diego Avellaneda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Anier Frichoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Beti was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. When Calamardo's Jairo Chepe in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magnum F.C's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Calamardo getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cleto Lluterio hit a great ball. Filomeno Beti came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Calamardo's Anier Frichoso. But to his dismay, Anier Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. After 85 minutes, Anier Frichoso made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Magnum F.C's Filomeno Beti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ladislao Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Calamardo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
