Cipriano Galo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Galoer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Abelardo Eguen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of Calamardo booed when Leeds United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baltasar Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Tulio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Galoer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Calamardo's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Tulio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Galoer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Galoer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Galo in the 69th minute of the match.
