Leonides Cloyo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Logroño's Gregorio Froylan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Froylan in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Cloyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gregorio Froylan put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Cloyo. In the 21st minute Gregorio Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Cloyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gregorio Froylan sped through Mellizos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonides Cloyo. When Igor Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Logroño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Navarro couldn't finish the play. Leonides Cloyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Froylan's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Mellizos AFC's Narciso Maraman got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gregorio Froylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Froylan scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Cloyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florentino Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Igor Navarro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Cloyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Florentino Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonides Cloyo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ismael Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Gregorio Froylan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mellizos AFC's Leonides Cloyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Logroño booed when Mellizos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Igor Navarro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonides Cloyo. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 66th minute, Gregorio Froylan made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Cloyo. Mellizos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 70 played minutes Mellizos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Iker Tomi. Logroño's Adolfo Quirze was substituted for Gregorio Froylan. The supporters of Logroño booed when Mellizos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Cloyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Quirze in the 75th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Logroño's Leonides Cloyo threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adolfo Quirze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Leonides Cloyo managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Logroño's Adolfo Quirze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ismael Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mellizos AFC's Herminio Velasco got a free kick in the 84th minute. When the match was over Logroño could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mellizos AFC throughout the match.
