Igor Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Velasco having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Gregorio Froylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Froylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes, Gregorio Froylan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Bicho Del Bichi's Eriberto Velasco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

A collision led to El Bicho Del Bichi getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Domingos Rami hit a great ball. Ismael Martino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes of play, Logroño's Gregorio Froylan made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Logroño's Florentino Xacintu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. German Oliveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Henric, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Quirze in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eriberto Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Quirze in the 86th minute of play. When Igor Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Logroño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Navarro couldn't finish the play. If Adolfo Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Igor Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Logroño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florentino Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Eriberto Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Logroño. Adolfo Quirze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Velasco having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Logroño fully deserved thier win.
