Lorenzo Argider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Benet in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Christobal was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cortadera AFC's Silvestre Padro got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ubaldo Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Argider having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Cortadera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Benet came free, but Lorenzo Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Donato Benet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cortadera AFC's Lorenzo Argider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ruperto Iraitz fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cortadera AFC's protests and gave Ruperto Iraitz a yellow card for diving instead. Ruperto Iraitz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Freddy Christobal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortadera AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Los Jibaros were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
