Placido Mikolas's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Nestor Peli - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 17th minute. A collision led to Cortadera AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bernabe Chucho hit a great ball. Lorenzo Argider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Turi in the 25th minute of play. Albano Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The Mechongué fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Mechongué's Godfredo Pirro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute, Isaias Suero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechongué fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 34 minutes of play, Mechongué's Godfredo Pirro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Argider was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Argider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Pirro in the 46th minute of the match. When Albano Nayely came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mechongué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Nayely couldn't finish the play. After the first half Mechongué were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ruperto Iraitz made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Pirro in the 57th minute of play forced Cortadera AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Argider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute of the match, Godfredo Pirro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lorenzo Argider saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Cortadera AFC's zone, David Montrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Argider came out of the goal and David Montrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Pirro in the 67th minute of play forced Cortadera AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Argider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Argider didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mechongué's Godfredo Pirro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-6 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Pirro in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Argider saved Cortadera AFC from getting behind. Lorenzo Argider came out of the goal and Filomeno Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godfredo Pirro in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lorenzo Argider, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd minute, Albano Nayely reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lorenzo Argider. The goal made the score 1-8. In the 95thth minute of the game Godfredo Pirro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cortadera AFC's Lorenzo Argider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lorenzo Argider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Pirro in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Mechongué could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cortadera AFC throughout the match.
