The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Reincidentes FC's zone, Severiano Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Marques came out of the goal and Severiano Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Leandro Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Fliz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justo Evis having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Leheren in the 24th minute of play forced Panacón FC's goalkeeper Justo Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Leheren took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justo Evis. Justo Evis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Fliz in the 33rd minute of play forced Panacón FC's goalkeeper Justo Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Edelmiro Fliz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panacón FC's Justo Evis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Leheren struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Justo Evis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reincidentes FC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genaro Leheren to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Panacón FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Narciso Txomin hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Edelmiro Fliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reincidentes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Genaro Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Sandaili charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Sandaili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Reincidentes FC booed when Panacón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Tabby kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Leandro Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Panacón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 89 in the game by Edelmiro Fliz from a close distance when the talented Justo Evis managed to make a qualified save. Panacón FC's players were relieved. After having played for 97 minutes, Edelmiro Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reincidentes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Fliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Reincidentes FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
