The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lorenzo Argider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Argider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Haritzeder in the 7th minute of the match. Bernabe Chucho hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Saul Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Argider having to interfere. If Marcelo Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Nuno's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lorenzo Argider firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Marcelo Haritzeder came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Fontana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Haritzeder couldn't finish the play. Cortadera AFC's Lorenzo Argider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Cortadera AFC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Cortadera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Haritzeder came free, but Lorenzo Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 21 in the game by Saul Nuno from a close distance when the talented Lorenzo Argider managed to make a qualified save. Cortadera AFC's players were relieved. Ruperto Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Lando having to interfere. Ruperto Iraitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestre Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruperto Iraitz to make the kick off. If Marcelo Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes in the game, Ruperto Iraitz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gregorio Lando having to interfere. Lorenzo Argider came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Fontana's Saul Nuno. But to his dismay, Saul Nuno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 75th minute, Freddy Christobal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortadera AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Fontana's Marcelo Haritzeder in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cortadera AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gregorio Lando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Christobal in the 83rd minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortadera AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Argider, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
